Gail, tallest sister and twin to Eileen. While attending college, Gail began working as a Customer Service Representative in the Circulation department of her local hometown newspaper. She became so enthralled with the newspaper business that she chose to make it her career. Working her way up the professional ladder at the newspaper, Gail realized that she had ink for blood and newsprint for skin. So when an exciting opportunity to continue her professional growth was offered by a large national newspaper chain, Gail and her family chose the new adventure and said "goodbye" to the safety net of their hometown environment.

Her responsibilities at the newspaper include management of an internal Help Desk while also performing application and systems support. Gail's dedication and love for the news industry is demonstrated on a daily basis by wearing these multiple hats that promote customer service to the paper's readership and employees alike. And because of Gail, the Fifth Column will never be the same!

After the paper is put to bed each night, Gail focuses on her other full time job - four children who range in age from 9 to 21. Activities can include play practice, gymnastics, and dance classes for her children. Not to be overlooked are the domestic chores that also need to be attended to sooner or later. For her own personal refreshment, she is a self-acclaimed crossword puzzle whiz, digs gardening and likes to sew on occasion. Having a conversation with another adult after 5:00 p.m. (other than on cursory topics) also provides entertainment and affirmation that she can hold her own with someone beyond the age of her oldest child. Yes, she does it all or at least has great intentions.
